Springfield Area Foundation for Architecture Scholarship

The Springfield Area Foundation for Architecture (SAFA) is excited to announce that applications are now open for 2026 scholarship applications. This scholarship is available to undergraduate students in years 3-5 of an accredited architecture program who are from one of the following counties:

Barry, Barton, Camden, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Polk, Pulaski, St. Clair, Stone, Taney, Vernon, Webster, or Wright.

 

The application deadline is March 16 2026, so don’t miss this opportunity to support education and the future in architecture. If you know a student who qualifies, please share this information with them.

Four scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000, are available this year.

How to Apply:

  • Visit: Grant Interface

  • Click Create New Account – Use a personal email (not a school email).

  • Follow the prompts and click Continue.

  • Apply for the “Springfield Area Foundation for Architecture Scholarship.”

AIA Springfield Scholarship Application Form

Available to students entering the third, fourth or fifth year of their studies.
Application Deadline: 5 pm CST, Friday, March 13, 2026.


AIA Springfield is pleased to offer the following scholarships:

 

AIA Springfield Scholarship for Design Excellence


This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a student entering their fifth year of study, awarded on the demonstration of the quality of design work.


AIA Springfield Scholarships for Professional Promise


With up to $2,000 for these scholarships, they are awarded to a minimum of two students entering their third, fourth or fifth year of study, awarded on a demonstration of engagement in the profession or community.
